Dr Aisling O'Donnell, September 2011: This college accommodation is good value for money. I stayed here when attending a conference at a nearby college which had much more expensive accommodation. It is a bit basic in that you have to share bathroom facilities, but I never once had to wait for the bathroom so it worked out fine. The bedrooms are large and clean with a desk which is handy if you are attending a conference.

The parking on site is a definite bonus but the general feel of the college where everyone is cheerfull and helpful adds to the pleasure staying at Churchill College. I spoke to others staying on a B&B basis. All without exception were more than happy, had enjoyed their stay and would come again; as will I. One benefit of staying at a University College is that the rooms have a large desk, something missing in most B&Bs. Thank you for the opportunity to give my view.

As it is out of the city centre, albeit a short walk or bus journey, it was lovely and quiet compared to the centre itself on the Saturday night I stayed. There was also ample parking.
